About the founder

The roots of Helm Hair extend back to my childhood, precisely at the age of 8. It was during those formative years that I first discovered the intricacies of natural haircare, inspired by the loving maintenance my mother devoted to my hair. Her meticulous routines ignited a profound love for my natural texture, laying the foundation for a passion. As I grew older, I found myself drawn to the beauty and versatility of textured hair and its care. Watching my mother's commitment and experiencing the beauty of my natural coils fuelled an attachment that became a driving force in my life.

At 17, I embarked on a personal journey to carry out a dream, experimenting with different ingredients and formulations. What began as self-care naturally expanded to benefit those around me and the idea of Helm Hair was born. By crafting products for friends and family, Helm Hair became tangible — an organic evolution born from a genuine love for textured hair.
